The purpose of this blog is to explore the culture of Steampunk as well as other punk-subcultures like it. Questions that I will try to answer are: What is it? Where does draw its influence from? Who is involved in this culture?

The picture at the top is actually of a broken part in my car. :P One of the knobs that turns my heater up and down broke off and I took a picture of the inside :)
Feel free to use the bike gears picture. If you need a larger version I have it, as it is of my husband's bike. The rest are on campus or at the Discovery Center.
Yeah, really cool photos. Is it a hobby of yours? You've got a keen eye for balance and composition (well, as much as I can tell, since I'm not a pro photographer).
